Appalachian Trail Thru Hike Presentation:
Join Joe Collins and John Suhar as they take you on a personal journey experiencing the joys and hardships of trekking across the Appalachian Mountain Range together in 2009. In April of 2009 Joe and John began embarking on a 2,200 mile journey along our Eastern Seaboard – Their expedition took almost 6 months to complete as they hiked through 14 states, from Georgia to Maine. The two hikers carried everything they needed to survive in a backpack and completed their Appalachian Trail thru hike on September 12th, 2009. During this presentation they will share stories, photos, and videos, while answering questions and displaying the gear they used. Their Appalachian Trail website is linked here.
